A sexual assault suspect was taken into custody in San Pedro Monday.
Officers responded near West Sixth Street and South Pacific Avenue at approximately 11:20 a.m. Monday to reports regarding a sexual battery, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspect was eventually taken into custody after officers established a perimeter to locate him.
The suspect’s name was not released.
