Homicide detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Thursday were investigating the fatal shooting of a man outside a liquor store in Lynwood.

Deputies with the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department’s Lynwood Station responded at approximately 11:55 p.m. Wednesday to the 12100 block Long Beach Boulevard, at Cedar Avenue, where they found the victim, according to LASD Lt. Chris Oakley.

The victim, whose name and age were not immediately available, was pronounced dead at the scene just on Thursday, shortly after midnight, by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel, sheriff’s and Medical Examiner’s officials said.

Video from the scene shows a Mercedes-Benz with bullet holes and shattered glass on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
