A woman was shot and killed Friday morning in Compton.
Sheriff’s deputies responded about 2:45 a.m. to the 2100 block of North Kalsman Avenue.
“The victim was transported to a local area hospital and pronounced deceased,” according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department statement.
No additional details about the dead woman or any suspect description were immediately available.
