Los Angeles Police Department investigators will join relatives and friends of a homicide victim Thursday to seek the public’s help — and highlight a $50,000 reward — for information in the 2023 fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man in Boyle Heights.

Patrol officers responded to the 3400 block of Emery Street, near Washington Boulevard and Grande Vista Avenue, around 4:30 a.m. on June 13, 2023, regarding a man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police. The man, Noah Martinez, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators found shell casings at the location but no witnesses, police said.

There is a $50,000 reward being offered for information leading to the identity, arrest and prosecution of the person or people responsible.

A news conference is planned for Thursday morning at the LAPD’s Hollenbeck Station, where police brass, family and friends of Martinez will plead for clues in solving the case.

Anyone with information is urged to call the LAPD’s Central Bureau Homicide Division at 213-996-4104. Calls during non-business hours or weekends should be directed to 877-527-3247. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or visit lacrimestoppers.org.
