Two people who stole an iconic 50-pound fiberglass dinosaur from a Brentwood gas station were caught on surveillance video but haven’t been caught with the statue.
ABC7 on Sunday night played video showing a man with a yellow hoodie approaching the four-foot-tall dinosaur named Claire, in front of the Sinclair station at 13060 San Vicente Blvd. Sept. 27, and removing her with power tools.
Someone drove up in a white pickup truck and the man put the dinosaur in the bed, then they made off with it.
The Los Angeles Police Department continued its investigation while neighbors were showing their grief by placing flowers where Claire once stood.
