Sheriff’s investigators sought the public’s help Sunday locating an 85-year-old at-risk man with a cognitive impairment who disappeared in Lawndale.
Mauricio Gutierrez was last seen at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday in the 4600 block of West 173rd Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Gutierrez was described as Hispanic, 5-feet-8 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, gray pants and black shoes.
Authorities said Gutierrez has a cognitive impairment, and his family is concerned for his well-being.
