A woman in her 40s was found dead on a sidewalk in Sylmar Thursday.
Officers were called about 8:55 a.m. Thursday to the 13600 block of Sayre Street, a couple of blocks from the Foothill (210) Freeway, where the body was discovered, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and a death investigation was launched, an LAPD spokesman said.
There was no immediate evidence of foul play, he said.
Images from the location showed a canopy covering the body.
False news was a male not a female
