Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department’s homicide detectives Saturday are investigating the shooting death of a man who was killed at a Halloween party in Santa Clarita.
Deputies from the department’s Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded at 11:24 p.m. Friday to the 25000 block of De Wolfe Road in Gavin Canyon regarding a shooting, said sheriff’s homicide Lt. Michael Modica.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. According to reports from the scene, Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics took a second shooting victim to a trauma center in an unknown condition.
