A 24-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Indio Saturday, the Indio Police Department announced.
The crash was reported around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the northbound lanes of Jefferson Street, north of Dunbar Drive.
Responding officers found a woman who had been ejected from the vehicle. She suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Indio PD Traffic Division assumed the investigation.
The northbound lanes of Jefferson Street between Northgate Road and Dunbar Drive were closed during the investigation, but reopened at 5:45 a.m.
