A Silver Alert was activated Tuesday for an at-risk 77-year-old man last seen in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles.
Ariel Caudillo was last seen at 2 p.m. Monday near Toberman and 14th streets, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Caudillo was described as a 5-foot-3-inch-tall man weighing 130 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark-colored pants, black boots, and a leather belt with a large buckle.
Anyone with information regarding Caudillo’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of the elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
