Authorities sought the public’s assistance Friday in locating an at-risk 71-year-old man last seen in Palmdale.
Arthur Brown was last seen at 4 p.m. Thursday near West Palmdale Boulevard and Trade Center Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Brown was described as a 5-foot-9-inch-tall man weighing 140 pounds with a bald head and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information regarding Brown’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate searches for missing elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired people.

You have an alert for an at risk elderly man, give height, weight, etc., but not his race, or whether his skin color were light or dark, is he Asian, African, European background. Descriptions aren’t racist. They help people find those who are missing and lost.
