A man was found with a fatal gunshot wound Tuesday in a pickup truck parked in the East Los Angeles area, authorities said.
Deputies responded at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday to the 1400 block of South Woods Avenue, near Telegraph Road, after receiving a report of a gunshot victim, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The area is located in an unincorporated part of Los Angeles County.
Upon arrival, deputies found the man suffering from a gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The victim was inside a pickup truck that appeared to have a shattered passenger-side window, KTLA5 reported.
