Four alleged burglary suspects are in police custody Wednesday following a police pursuit that ended in South Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at 7:09 p.m. Tuesday to a burglary call in the Wilshire Division. Officers located the suspects’ vehicle and the suspects drove away with the officers in pursuit, LAPD Officer Kevin Terzes told City News Service.
The chase continued into South Los Angeles, where the driver crashed the vehicle near East Manchester Avenue and Avalon Boulevard. The suspects bailed out of the vehicle and ran away, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Officers caught up with the suspects and arrested them.
According to reports from the scene, at least one person was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
