A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle and killed Thursday morning in Boyle Heights.
The crash was reported about 5:20 a.m. at the intersection of Boyle Avenue and Seventh Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
An officer said it was not immediately clear if the driver remained at the scene as required.
Reports from the scene showed a white pop-up tent set up in the intersection.
