A man was wounded Monday in a shooting near East Rancho Dominguez Park in the unincorporated East Compton area of Los Angeles County.
The shooting was reported just after midnight Monday in the 800 block of Lime Avenue near Rose Street, according to Sgt. N. De La Torre of the Compton Sheriff’s Station.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to a hospital by ambulance with stable vital signs, De La Torre said.
Information about motive and suspect was not immediately available, he said.
