Police Thursday are searching for a suspect who fatally shot a 35-year-old man in Valley Glen.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 11:13 p.m. Wednesday to 13561 Sherman Way, east of Woodman Avenue where they learned a 35-year-old suspect approached the victim and an argument ensued, an LAPD spokeswoman told City New Service.
Witnesses told police at some point during the verbal altercation, the suspect drew a gun and shot the victim, ran away from the scene and jumped into a car, which drove away in an unknown direction.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived and took the victim to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
