A tri-county Silver Alert is in effect Friday for a 71-year-old woman who was reported missing in the Santa Clarita area.
Patricia Holdefer was last seen at approximately 6:30 p.m. Thursday near San Francisquito Canyon Road and North Quail Trail, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert Thursday on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Holdefer is white, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 105 pounds, has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
Authorities believe that Holdefer is driving a silver 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, with an Arizona license plate number CDH9747.
Anyone who has seen Holdefer or knows of her whereabouts was asked to call 911. The alert is in effect for Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
