A Silver Alert was issued Monday for a 70-year-old woman who was reported missing in Thousand Palms.
Laurel Cline was last seen at about 3 p.m. Sunday at Thousand Palm Canyons Road and Ramon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Cline is 5-feet-4 inches tall, weighs 137 pounds, has brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a red shirt and beige pants. Authorities believe she is traveling on foot.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
