Investigators continued to look for leads Monday into a shooting during a street takeover in Rosemead that wounded four people.
Deputies were dispatched at about 1:50 a.m. Sunday to a report of a takeover at the intersection of Del Mar and Garvey avenues, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
“During the incident, a shooting occurred, resulting in four victims being struck by gunfire,” the department said. “All four victims were transported to local hospitals and are currently listed in stable condition.”
The wounded were identified as a 17-year-old boy, a 19-year-old man, a 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old man.
“Detectives are actively working to identify those involved and determine the events that led up to the shooting,” authorities said. “There is no additional information available at this time.”
