A man suspected of stabbing a male victim was taken into custody Monday following an hours-long barricade inside a house in a Pico Rivera neighborhood.

The barricade occurred at 10:23 p.m. Sunday in the 8000 block of True Avenue near Myron Street, following a stabbing in the area, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Dep. Tracy Koerner told City News Service.

The suspect barricaded himself inside the house following the stabbing nearby that left the victim hospitalized with wounds not believed life-threatening, Koerner said.

The sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau responded to the home and the suspect walked out of the home and was arrested without incident at about 2:30 a.m. Monday, the deputy said.
