A man in his 40s was gravely injured in a stabbing Wednesday at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles.
Firefighters were called at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday to the 800 block of Alameda Street, the location of Union Station, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A 43-year-old victim was in “at least grave condition” when taken to a hospital, according to a fire department spokeswoman, who said the stabbing was reported by Union Station security.
According to reports from the scene, the man was stabbed across Alameda Street and collapsed in front of the station after crossing the road.
The man did not survive, according to CBS2, but the LAPD did not immediately confirm the fatality.
No suspect information was immediately available.
