A semi truck was fully engulfed in flames Thursday on westbound Interstate 10 near Chiriaco Summit.
The blaze was reported shortly before 2:50 p.m. Thursday near the Hayfield Road on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Fire crews arrived at the scene and contained the fire at 3:17 p.m., according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
