Harbor-UCLA Medical Center sought help Friday from the public in identifying a woman, thought to be homeless, who was brought to the hospital earlier this month.

The woman, estimated to be 45 or slightly older, has been at the hospital since April 8, according to hospital staff. She was found down in the area of Carson Street and Normandie Avenue. She has said she is possibly from Lake Milton, Ohio, and may have lived at one point in the Bay Area.

She is white, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 286 pounds. She has a surgical scar on her right arm.

Anyone with information that could help identify the patient was urged to call the hospital at 424-306-4435 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or 424-306-6990 after-hours and on weekends.
