A woman was fatally wounded in a shooting Monday in Rosemead.
The shooting was reported about 6:15 a.m. in the 2400 block of Strathmore Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, the sheriff’s department reported.
Lt. Steve DeJong was the lead detective investigating the case.
