A cache of counterfeit luxury goods, with an estimated street value of $5 million to $10 million, was seized Thursday at a downtown Los Angeles warehouse.
Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Bureau served a search warrant early Thursday morning at a warehouse in the 500 block of Main Street, and at a retail store in the 500 block of South Los Angeles Street, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Sheriff’s officials said detectives recovered counterfeit luxury items at the warehouse and arrested a man and a woman in connection with the investigation.
It was not immediately known what type of merchandise was seized.
