A senior suspected of groping a woman hiking in downtown Riverside may have inappropriately touched other women, prompting police Thursday to ask anyone with information to come forward.
Toai Pham, 77, of Riverside was arrested in March following a Riverside Police Department investigation into an alleged sexual battery on the trail that circles Mt. Rubidoux.
Pham was booked into the Robert Presley Jail on the misdemeanor allegation, but posted bond within hours and was released.
“The investigation revealed Pham routinely hikes Mt. Rubidoux in the morning hours,” Detective Steven Espinosa said. “The victim reported that Pham approached her and inappropriately touched her without consent.”
The woman was not injured and immediately reported the encounter to police on March 9.
The ensuing investigation only identified the one victim at the time, but Espinosa said detectives now suspect there may be others who had similar experiences with the man.

Anyone with information was urged to contact detectives at 951-353-7113.
