A man was pronounced dead at a hospital Friday, prompting a homicide investigation into his death.
Homicide detectives responded at approximately 12:42 p.m. Friday to the 4000 block of First Street to assist deputies assigned to the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station in a death investigation, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau
Sheriff’s officials said the victim was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Details about the man’s death or what led up to his hospitalization were not immediately provided.
There was no description of a possible suspect.
