One person was killed in what may have been a head-on collision in Santa Clarita.
The crash occurred around 2:40 p.m. Friday in the area of Newhall Ranch Road between Rye Canyon Road and Copper Hill Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Reports from the scene indicated that at least one person was pronounced dead at the scene of what appeared to be a head-on collision involving a wrong-way driver.
Details about what led up to the collision remain limited.
It was unclear if anyone else was injured.
