It took 82 firefighters around 20 minutes Saturday to put out flames in the attic of a row of townhomes in the Lake Balboa community of the San Fernando Valley.
The fire was reported at 6:55 p.m. Saturday at 7100 Balboa Blvd., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jamie Stewart.
That location is just south of Sherman Way and near Van Nuys Airport.
The fire was out just after 7:15 p.m., Stewart said.
There were no reports of injuries, Stewart said.
