A suspect who police say is a “hot prowl” burglar was arrested Tuesday in Santa Monica.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a residential burglary in progress at 1:30 a.m. Monday to a home in the 100 block of Adelaide Drive and Ocean Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they learned a suspect entered the residence through a side door and police took him into custody, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
It was not immediately known if the suspect took any property and no one was injured during the burglary.
