Los Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson was released on bond Tuesday morning after being arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence at a West Hills home, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched at 10:46 p.m. Monday to a home in the 7400 block of Cliffside Court regarding a call of battery domestic violence, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Jackson, 27, was arrested early Tuesday on suspicion of felony domestic violence and later released on $50,000 bond, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Inmate Information Center.

“We are aware of the incident regarding Alaric Jackson, and we take these matters very seriously,” the Rams said in a statement. “Due to this being an ongoing legal situation, we cannot comment further at this time.”

According to NBC4, Jackson thought a woman was recording him with a phone and allegedly tried to take the phone out of her hand. The station reported that investigators said the woman had scratch marks on her arms.

Jackson was sued in 2025 for allegedly recording a woman without consent during sex, but that suit was eventually dismissed. Jackson was suspended for two games in August 2024 after the NFL said he violated the league’s personal conduct policy, according to ESPN.

After going undrafted in 2021, the University of Iowa graduate has developed into a cornerstone of the Rams’ offensive line. The team signed him to a three-year, $57 million contract extension in February 2025.

The 6-foot-7-inch, 340-pound lineman is tentatively set to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court on June 30.
