The crash was reported at 8:34 p.m. Sunday at Tilden Avenue and National Boulevard, southeast of the interchange of the San Diego (405) and Santa Monica (10) freeways, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jamie Stewart.

The driver of the other vehicle was also injured and both patients were taken to hospitals by ambulance, Stewart said.

Their genders, ages and conditions were not available.
