A Silver Alert was activated Friday after an at-risk 77-year-old man last seen in Baldwin Park was reported missing.
Carlos Calderon was last seen at approximately 12:10 p.m. Friday near Maine Avenue and Clark Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Calderon was described as a 5 feet, 8 inches tall man, 165 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red-checkered shirt, blue jeans, black shoes and a black hat.
Anyone with information regarding Calderon’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
