A woman was fatally struck in an apparent hit-and-run crash Friday in Lancaster.
Deputies responded at 12:59 a.m. Friday to West Avenue M and Fourth Street West after receiving a report of a person lying in the roadway, Lt. J. Elizondo of the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station told City News Service.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, Elizondo said.
Information about the suspect vehicle was not immediately available, he said.
The investigation was continuing.
