The investigation continued Thursday into a shooting in Culver City that left a man with a non-life-threatening wound to one of his legs.

The shooting occurred at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in a parking lot in the area of Hughes Parkway and Washington Boulevard, according to Culver City Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Atenza.

“Preliminary information indicates that two adult male suspects approached an adult male victim in the parking lot of the location and opened fire,” Atenza said. “The victim was struck once in the leg with a through-and-through gunshot wound. The suspects fled in an unknown direction. The victim was treated for the non-life-threatening injury at the nearby hospital.”

Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspects, she said.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have relevant video was urged to contact the Culver City Police Department watch commander at 310-253-6202.
