A Silver Alert was activated Tuesday for an 81-year-old woman last seen in Pasadena.

Sabrina Newman was last spotted at approximately 7:50 p.m. Monday near Cordova Street and Oak Knoll Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Pasadena Police Department.

Newman was described as 5-feet-7-inches-tall, weighing 133 pounds with blond/gray hair and hazel eyes.

She was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt and tan pants.

Authorities said they believed Newman was on foot.

Anyone with information about Newman’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.

The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired people.
