Police investigated a shooting that occurred during Fourth of July celebrations in Long Beach, where officers recovered evidence of a shooting but no injuries were reported, authorities said Sunday.
Officers responded at about 8:10 p.m. Saturday to the 1100 block of Walnut Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“Upon arrival, officers located evidence indicating a shooting had occurred,” according to a police statement. “Suspect information and the motive for the shooting is under investigation. No injuries were reported.”
