A man run over by a vehicle while lying on a Reseda street died in an accident, authorities said Saturday.
Rickie Hanson, 44, died from blunt traumatic injuries, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office.
The death occurred at 2:48 a.m. Thursday at Lindley Avenue and Vanowen Street, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
A vehicle was traveling northbound on Lindley when it ran over the man, the spokesman said. The man now identified as Hanson was pronounced dead at the scene, the officer said.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police said.
