A Silver Alert was activated Tuesday on behalf of a 67-year-old man last seen in the Pico-Union area.
Frederick Carter was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. Friday near West 15th Street and Magnolia Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Carter was described as a 5-foot-8-inch-tall man weighing 135 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark-colored pants and socks.
Anyone with information regarding Carter’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
