A Silver Alert was activated Wednesday for an at-risk 84-year-old woman who was last seen in Palmdale, authorities said.
Sharon Woodford was last seen about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Grandview Drive and Lonsdale Court, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Woodford was described as a 5-foot, 6-inch tall White female weighing 120 pounds with gray hair and green eyes. She may be driving a red 2012 Ford Focus, with California license plate numbers 6WHR739.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
