A 60-year-old man was behind bars Friday on suspicion of a fatal DUI collision in Westminster.
Flavio Isaias Davalos of Westminster was booked on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, according to Westminster police.
He is accused of striking a pedestrian about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in a parking lot at Beach Boulevard and 15th Street, police said.
The victim was identified as 34-year-old Salvador Gabriel Torres, who had no permanent address, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Davalos was arrested a short distance away from the collision, police said.
