A woman was killed Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in the desert near Palmdale.
The collision was reported at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday on Pearblossom Highway just west of Old Nadeau Road, close to the California Aqueduct, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pearblossom Highway was closed between 26th Street East and Sierra Highway for the crash response and investigation.
