An 18-year-old man was charged Wednesday with fatally shooting a woman in Garden Grove.
Ethan Anthony Vidal was charged with murder with a sentencing enhancement for the personal discharge of a gun causing death. He was accused of killing a victim identified only as Janely G on Sunday, according to the criminal complaint.
Vidal did not enter a plea Wednesday at his arraignment in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana. The arraignment was rescheduled for Aug. 27 in the West Justice Center in Westminster.
Garden Grove police did not immediately respond to a request for further details.
