Police sought public help Sunday locating a 68-year-old woman with dementia last seen at or near a Woodland Hills mall.
Mariko Yamagami was last seen about 6:40 a.m. Thursday near the 6600 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard heading southbound, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The 6600 hundred block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard is the location of the Westfield Topanga mall, although most or all stores would have been closed at the time. There are also hotels and business which would have been open in the vicinity.
Yamagami was described as Japanese. She’s about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes. She has a medium build and light complexion, and was last seen wearing a gray shirt, black pants and white shoes.
