Two suspects remained at large Sunday after fleeing in a stolen Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon following a brief police pursuit in the Watts area, police said.
The pursuit began at 9:56 a.m. Sunday and ended about two minutes later near 114th Street and Compton Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The G-Wagon was involved in a collision during the pursuit, police said, but no injuries were reported.
Witnesses told police that two female suspects got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. Neither suspect had been taken into custody as of Sunday afternoon.
The LAPD’s Southeast Division was handling the investigation.
