A 43-year-old Anaheim man suspected of killing his girlfriend was behind bars Thursday.
Oscar Velasquez was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of killing 38-year-old Jasmine Miranda of Anaheim, according to Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Eric Anderson.
Police were called about 12:51 p.m. Tuesday to the Kona Motel at 331 N. Broookhurst St., near the Dad Miller Golf Course, for a check on Miranda, Anderson said. Miranda was pronounced dead at motel, he added.
Police tracked down Velasquez on Wednesday in Santa Ana and he was booked on suspicion of murder, Anderson said.
