A person was killed during a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the Mid-City community of Los Angeles, authorities said.
The crash involving a green pickup truck traveling eastbound left one person dead around 2:26 a.m. on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, just west of the La Brea Avenue, a California Highway Patrol spokesperson said.
No information on the victim was available.
A SigAlert, issued at 2:56 a.m. closing the Nos. 3, 4, and 5 lanes of the freeway, was cancelled at 6:20 am.
There was no other immediate information available.
