A 36-year-old man who was killed in a crash on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Sun Valley was identified Tuesday.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 10:41 p.m. Monday on the southbound freeway at Sunland Boulevard.
A witness told the CHP a black sedan swerved across lanes, hit the center divider and overturned.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.
The victim was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office as Christopher Renteria.
