Authorities continued to investigate Tuesday the death of a man struck and killed by a vehicle in El Monte in an accident that involved a motorized bike.
One pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle around 10:45 p.m. Monday on the 4100 block of Richwood Ave., an El Monte Police Department spokesperson said.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police said.
The collision was under investigation and police were still at the scene as of 2:15 a.m.
Video from the scene shows one unresponsive body lying on the ground with shoes and other articles of clothing strewn around the street and some sort of motorized bike damaged and lying on its side in the street.
