Government offices, courts, schools, libraries, banks and post offices will be closed Tuesday in Los Angeles in observance of Christmas.
Trash collection will be postponed by one day, according to the city Bureau of Sanitation.
Metered parking restrictions in the city will also be lifted for the Dec. 25 holiday.
Metro buses, trains and subways will be on a Sunday schedule. Specific schedules for bus lines can be found at www.metro.net.
